Spitak Helsinki Group” human rights NGO was founded in 2010. The organization deals with the protection of the rights of women and children, victims of violence. During 11 years of activity it had more than 5000 beneficiaries. It is a support center of Lori region by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
“Spitak Helsinki Group” human rights NGO created the “Spitak Manushak ” social enterprise with the co-financing of the European Union in 2018 to ensure the financial stability of the organization
Spitak Manushak is a social enterprise engaged in the production of herbal oils which provides jobs for women who have been subjected to domestic violence or have social issuses.

The Spitak region has a favorable geographical position, due to which the plants and flowers growing here are medicinal plants. Taking all this into account, in 2019 we engaged in collecting plants with our women with the mechanism developed by an international expert, we produced 12 types of oils, which we sold mainly during exhibitions.
Production was not organized due to Covid 19 and the war. And from 2021 we started to study the market, clarified the range, and already in September we registered our social enterprise as a limited liability company.
Thanks to research, we decided to enter the market with two types of oils. Initially, we will have 3 employees who will be trained in advance, depending on the sales volume, the number of jobs will increase. Now we need a number of equipment, without which we can not resume production, we also need some financial resources, which are initially needed to pay employees and to store raw materials.

The activities of the organization are important not only for the residents of Spitak but also for the whole region. Thus, the social enterprise will first of all ensure the continuous and stable activity of the organization.
Our products are completely natural, used not only by individuals for their daily skin care, but also by companies that produce care products as a raw material. We have singled out two important components in our social enterprise: quality and a clear social impact.
